Story Behind the Art:
Guillermo moved to Mexico from Spain in 1985 after marriage. Fate sent him to Taxco where he met and studied with a silversmith and learned the craft of jewelry making. Guillermo continues to live and work in the beautiful mountain town, creating beautiful jewelry designs from precious metals like sterling silver, gold and copper. These pieces are handmade by local artisans using traditional techniques. He is content knowing that the work he does is supporting the local workers, his family and also bringing pleasure to the consumer who purchases the finished jewelry. His greatest joy in life is spending time with his children.
